Prepositions
Hebrew prepositions come in two kinds: tiny one-letter prefixes that glue onto the next word (בְּ, לְ, מִ), and standalone words (עַל, עִם, אֶל, שֶׁל).
Prefix Prepositions: בְּ, לְ, מִ
בְּ = in/at, לְ = to/for, מִ = from. They attach directly to the word.
Standalone Prepositions
These stay separate words, just like in English.
Prepositions + Pronoun Endings
Prepositions absorb pronouns as endings — 'to me' is one word.
