The Definite Article
In Hebrew, 'the' is a prefix — the letter ה (ha) attached directly to the front of a noun.
Adding הַ to a Noun
Attach הַ directly to the noun. No separate word needed. Tap a noun to stamp הַ on — tap again to peel it off.
Stamp or skip?
Hebrew has no word for “a.” Stamp הַ only when English would say “the.”
